Talking to a girl on the phone can be fairly nerve racking. However, if you stay calm, it is not as hard as you think. During your High School years, talking to a girl on the phone is one of the key points to developing a relationship. Follow these steps and all of your problems will disappear.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Confidence
  • A phone(Of Course)
  • A girl
  1. Step 1

The first step in talking to a girl on the phone is finding a girl that likes you. If you are in High School, chances are someone out there has a crush on you. Ask around and see which girls are interested in you. If you are too nervous to ask for a girl's number face to face, go to her best friend and see if you can exchange numbers through her.Talking on the phone is the perfect way to break the ice before you start talking in person.

  2. Step 2

Stay Calm. Before you get on the phone you need to calm yourself down(Only if you are nervous). To calm yourself down, breath in and out through your nose once. Then, breath in and out through your nose once, filling your lungs to capacity then releasing all of the air out of your lungs. Finally, repeat the second step only slower. This time, make sure you can control your oxygen intake and feel the air go in and out of your lungs.

  3. Step 3

When you have calmed yourself down, write down some topics to talk about. This way, if somehow the conversation dies, you have something quick to talk about. Silence will make the conversation boring and it may force a girl to quickly exit the conversation.

  4. Step 4

This step is very important when having a conversation. Be yourself. When the conversation starts, ask her about her day then go from there. When she says something that relates to you on a personal level, let her complete her sentence then start talking about what you had in mind. For example, if she starts talking about something that happened in English class, come back with something that has happened to you in English class. If you use this technique, the conversation will hardly ever die.

  5. Step 5

Finally, never look at the time. Let the conversation flow and run its course. Soon, you will be talking for hours and hours.
