Things You'll Need:
- Money
-
Step 1
Hookahs come in all shapes and sizes, each with its’ own set purpose. There are many things to consider when purchasing a hookah, because if you don’t know what you’re doing, you could easily spend too much money, and then only have half of a hookah to show for your efforts.
Identify Your Audience: Will you be passing this hookah around in a large circle of people, or will you merely be enjoying It by yourself or with two or three other friends? If you’re looking for a group hookah, then it’s best that you purchase either a hookah with a swivel base, or a 4-hosed hookah, allowing four people to simultaneously smoke. -
Step 2
Group hookahs will automatically necessitate a larger hookah to ensure everyone gets to enjoy the delicious tobacco flavors, but smaller hookahs allow for different options.
For a select few people, a rotating or swivel base is not necessary as it noticeably increases cost. A medium tower with one hose is probably perfect. A four hose between those few people will require people to constantly smoke, which can lead to nausea or just plain lung sickness, especially if your friends are part of the largest hookah smoking demographic that does not smoke cigarettes regularly -
Step 3
For a one person hookah, no bells or whistles are needed. A simple small hookah will suffice, as it packs more than enough of a punch for up to two people.
