How to Organize Your Cosmetic Clutter

Amid the endless array of half-used lotions and potions lining your bathroom shelves, there's only a scant handful that are used regularly, right? Well, there is a super-easy method to make the most (and ditch the least) of your beauty booty.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Take all of your products and divide them into three categories:
Category One: Items you use everyday and can't live without.
Category Two: Products you use once in a while.
Category Three: Anything you've held onto for more than three months that has hardly touched you body.
Step2
Anything in Category Three, immediately throw in the garbage. It's amazing what assigning a numerical value to anything can do. It's all about tricking your resistance into compliance.
Step3
Take Categories One and Two and redistribute them into the three categories and repeat.
Step4
Next, take all of the items left in Category Two and neatly organize them in baskets that can be hidden but are easily accessible (all hair products together, all makeup together).
Step5
Place your everyday products in an attractive container or beauty caddy that matches the decor of your bathroom and place it within arm's reach.
