By using coffee beans you can get a musty smell out of an old trumpet case.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • coffee beans
  • 1 sheet of felt
  • 1 embroidery needle
  • embroidery floss
  • trumpet case

Step1
Cut two pieces of felt each to be approx. the size of an index card.
Step2
Thread your needle with embroidery floss, making sure you have a knot at the end.
Step3
Hold the two pieces of felt together and sew three sides of the felt together. For best convenience leave the open side to be one of the shorter sides.
Step4
Fill the sewn felt with coffee beans.
Step5
Sew the remaining open side of the felt. Now you have made an odor resolving sachet.
Step6
Place sachet in trumpet case.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can remove sachet when the scent is resoled, however if you leave it in there you will have a good smelling case longer.
  • you may use lavender in place of coffee.
