Being sick can stop you from working. If you’re a freelance writer, though, you can’t afford to stop working. Here is how you can write while sick.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Take non-drowsy medicine. It’s important to take medicine while sick so that you can get better. Make sure to avoid medications that will make you drowsy, as those will keep you from writing.
Step2
Rest while writing. Instead of writing a piece all the way through, take a break in order to give your body some rest.
Step3
Eat especially healthy when your sick. Doing so will help you to get better and also give you enough energy to write.
Step4
Eliminate germs in your work area. You can do this simply by using disinfectant as well as washing your hands often.
Step5
Have a little bit of caffeine. You don’t want to overdo it since you’re going to want to rest, but a little bit of caffeine can give you the energy you need to write.
Step6
Limit the writing you do while sick. It’s not a good idea to take on a new writing assignment if you’re sick. Stick with the assignments you have and avoid taking on anything new until you feel better.
