Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1- 2 Dozen Live Blue Crabs
  • Old Bay
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 Can of Beer
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Hot Sauce
  • Large Roaster
  • Newspapers
  1. Step 1

    Turn on both front and back burners on top of stove. Place large roaster on heat and fill approximately 3/4 with water.

  2. Step 2

    Add onions (may be whole or cut in halves), Old Bay and other seasoning (to taste). Pour in can of beer (of your choice).

  3. Step 3

    As water starts to boil, carefully add crabs. Cover roaster.

  4. Step 4

    Spread newspaper over table. Crabs are ready when they turn bright red.
    Place crabs on covered table and you're ready for the feast.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always be careful when handling live crabs(they pinch really hard!)
  • If you've never handled live crabs before, you may want to use tongs.
