Things You'll Need:
- 1/2 Bushel - Bushel of Oysters
- Work Gloves
- Oyster Knife/Shucker
- Large Roaster w/Cover
- Newspapers

Step 1
Turn oven on to highest setting. Cover bottom of roaster with water; no more than a cup.

Step 2
Add oysters, a couple of layers deep. Cover roaster then put in the oven.

Step 3
"Roast" for 6-8 minutes (less time if you like them really juicy, more time if you like them a little firmer) until they open up.

Step 4
Spread out newspaper on table. Carefully empty oysters onto newspaper. Enjoy with lemon juice or cocktail sauce.
