1
Begin half way through a warm shower so that hair is not too coarse and skin is not too puffy.

The Body Shop
Exfoliate your legs by gently scrubbing them with a loofah lathered with shower gel. Rinse away any dead skin and soap.
-
3
Create a lather of hair conditioner (or shower gel) and smooth over leg. Start at your ankle and work your way up to the top of your thigh near your groin area so your leg is covered in conditioner.

5
Repeat using long upward strokes until you have gone all the way around the lower part of your leg. As you slide the razor up with one hand, feel the now-shaved part of you leg with the other to see if you missed a spot and go over it again until it's smooth.
-
6
Now Shave the top of your thigh, making upward strokes. On the back of your thigh, glide you hand in various directions to feel which way the hair is going. Shave against the grain (in the opposite direction that the hair is growing). You may have to work in sections to get it completely smooth.
-
7
Now carefully shave your knee area. This is the hardest part to get. Shave in various directions with knee bent, then straighten knee and carefully go over again. The hair on the knee can be kind of wacky and tends to have missed spots.
-
8
Repeat with other leg.
-
9
While you are at it, carefully shave the tops of your feet and toes if they are noticeable hairy. Just remember to go against the grain and be very careful when shaving over bony, irregular shaped areas.
-
10
After getting out of the shower, pat excess water from your legs but don't dry off completely.

Tips & Warnings
Rinse your razor thoroughly to keep build up of residue which dulls the blade.
Go slow and carefully to avoid nicks and cuts
If you wait until the end of a long shower, your skin will be a little more swollen, so you won't get as close a shave.
If you shave when you first get in the shower, you wont get as close a shave because the hair will be more coarse and more susceptible to razor burn.
Shaving cream can leave buildup and dull your razor. Skip the shaving cream and use the extra money to invest in a good quality razor with replaceable cartridges.
Never use a dull razor
