Swing batter batter, swing! Cheer on the Colorado Rockies at home games at the 50,000-seat Coors Field ballpark in Denver, Colorado.

From Quick Guide: Take Me Out to the Ball Games
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tickets
  • Team spirit
  1. Step 1

Grab a baseball mitt, throw on some purple and black Colorado Rockies gear and head to Coors Field at 20th and Blake streets in downtown Denver’s LoDo district. The ballpark, opened in 1995, is located off Exit #213 (Park Ave. West) from Interstate-25 South, and features beautiful views of the city and the Rocky Mountains to the west.

  2. Step 2

Stop by the Coors Field Ticket Office for tickets, for those who don't have game or season tickets. A popular spot for fans is the $4 Rockpile centerfield seating with the Platte River Rendevous pavilion-style picnic area located underneath it.

  3. Step 3

Sing along to “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” during the seventh inning stretch. And if the game comes down to a barn burner, proudly wear those rally caps.

  4. Step 4

Take a tour of Coors Field during the season, as well as the off-season. Public tour prices are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors (55 and older), $5 children (12 and younger). Group pricing is also available. Find out more at the Rockies Web page.

Tips & Warnings
  • Onsite, offsite and bicycle parking is available.
  • Check out the Rockies Web page to get to know the roster, shop for gear and more.
  • During the off-season, make a deposit online for season tickets.
  • Hard-sided coolers, briefcases and ice chests are not allowed.
  • Alcohol, glass bottles, aluminum cans, animals (excluding service animals for the disabled), confetti, bull horns, camel packs and laser pointers are also prohibited.
  • Permitted bags will be searched before entering Coors Field.
