NFL Fantasy Football has been growing in popularity for years. It is a game in which individuals select real NFL football players and form a team consisting of a quarterback, running backs, wide receivers, a tight end, a kicker and a team defense. These player’s weekly statistical performances are then compared to an opponent’s team for that week and a winner is declared. The draft is held before the actual pro football season begins and is a great determining factor in how well a fantasy team will perform. This draft method will ensure a good starting lineup and add depth to your fantasy football team as well.

Draft a quarterback in round three.

  10. Step 10

Alternate drafting wide receivers and running backs for the remaining rounds.

  11. Step 11

Wait until the last two rounds to pick a kicker and team defense.

Tips & Warnings
  • This strategy works for both rotisserie leagues and scoring leagues.
  • Make sure you have backup players for all positions except kicker and defense. You will have players injured.
  • Stick to the order of the priority lists. Many bad decisions come from winging it on draft day.
  • This draft is not applicable to keeper leagues.
