Babies and toddlers suffer from teething. It is a hard period for parents, too. It's not easy to take care of a teething toddler. They get irritated and fussy, and you often don't know how to make them feel better. These tips can help.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tylenol for kids or Motrin for kids
  • Oragel for kids
  • Rubber toys they can chew on
  1. Step 1

Relieve their pain with children's Tylenol or Motrin, especially before bedtime. Kids wake up often through the night and cry from the pain of teething.

  2. Step 2

Rub their gums with Oragel for kids. Be careful, as they may bite hard. Push your finger to the side of their mouth, not in the middle.

  3. Step 3

Have rubber toys handy and give them to the toddler to chew on. Kids get tired of the same toy. Have at least 2 different toys.

  4. Step 4

Take toddlers to parks and outside for walks as often as possible to distract them from their teething.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't try things like brandy or some herbs and advices that are not medically proven. Your baby is still fragile and may receive side effects from such things.
