From Quick Guide: Easy Recipes
Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Two bottles of moderately-priced champagne
  • One carton of sherbet ice cream
  • Two oranges
  1. Step 1

Slice oranges lengthwise, into fairly thin circles or half-circles.

  2. Step 2

Scoop carton of ice cream into large punch bowl.

  3. Step 3

Pour bottles of champagne into punch bowl.

  4. Step 4

    Float orange slices in punch.

  5. Step 5

    Serve immediately.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not worry about using "cheap" champagne. In this case, more expensive (and therefore drier) champagne will not lend its flavor as well to the punch.
  • Other garnish hints: sliced strawberries or small chunks of peaches and pears.
  • If necessary during party, add ice cubes.
  • Can be made non-alcoholic with sparking cider or lemon-lime soda.
