Make up your mind that it is time to get rid of the bad habit. Anything that you are willing to tolerate in your life will continue to overcome and control you. Setting your mind in a different direction

Understand that the bad habit is affecting you in a negative way and is hindering your life, relationships or health in some way and determine that you want better in your life. You want to have control over your life and not allow some thing to control you.
Step3
Replace the bad habit with a different focus. Focus on something that is good which is much more interesting to you than the bad habit. This will help you to re-direct your focus and interest.
Step4
Pray and ask God for help and strength when you need it most.
Step5
Get back up if you fall, and keep pressing until you overcome the bad habit. As long as you do not give up and remain determined, you will succeed.
