How to Celebrate New Year's Eve as a Couple

Step1
Decide on the food. Should you eat out at a nice restaurant. You can do this as a couple. But then again, maybe the two of you would rather spend the meal at home, together. You could cook your favorite foods together. You could have the meal catered in or you could order your favorite food, pick it up and bring it home. Decide on not what is just easier for the two of you, but what the two of you would like the most.
Step2
Make sure you have the supplies you need to create the right atmosphere. If you are eating at home, this means you need: candles, something nice to drink (alcoholic or nonalcoholic), maybe even some flowers on the table. If you are dining out, try to pick a place with a nice atmosphere.
Step3
Dress for the occasion. Yes, you might be dining at home with your hubby of 10 years, but that doesn't mean it is time for your normal attire of jeans and tee shirt. Pull out that nice dress, maybe a pair of heels. You men should also dress the part, as you did on that very first date.
Step4
Set the stage with music. Music in the background is always a nice touch, besides you never know you might have the urge to share a slow dance or two.

Tips & Warnings

  • Be sure to plan ahead for the night.
  • Be sure to discuss the plans with your partner.
  • A night like this may lead to romance.
