How to Buy a Group Gift for Co-Workers

  1. Step 1

Give the gift of food. Make a big tray of cookies for your co-workers to share or treat them to an entire lunch made by you. You can go as big or as small as you want when you give the gift of food.

  2. Step 2

Purchase nice hand soap and lotion for the office bathroom.

  3. Step 3

Replace a broken office item--coffee maker, stapler, hole punch--doesn't matter how big (or small) the item is, if it's something that's been missed.

  4. Step 4

Stock the break room with coffee, cocoa or cider.

  5. Step 5

Bring in a flower arrangement or plant to spruce up the office.

  6. Step 6

Donate money to a charity in your office's name.

Tips & Warnings
  • Remember that a group gift doesn't have to be big to be well-received; so just spend what you can afford.
  • Be sure to present your gift when all of your co-workers are around, so that everyone understands that this is your gift to the group as a whole.
