Things You'll Need:

  • 3 lb crab meat
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Bell Pepper
  • 1 Stick of Butter/Margarine
  • Old Bay Seasoning
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Hot Sauce
  • Cooking Oil
  1. Step 1

    Chop onion and Bell Peppers. Melt butter in frying pan. Add chopped onions and Bell Peppers. Saute.

  2. Step 2

    Mix eggs and condensed milk together. Add crab meat. Pour in melted butter from sauteed onions and Bell Peppers, along with Old Bay, salt, hot sauce, cayenne and black pepper to taste.(A pinch of cayenne is just to season, sprinkle it to add robust flavor!)Mix it all real good.

  3. Step 3

    Pour 2 tablespoons of oil in frying pan. Place meat mixture into hands and make into plump, meaty, crab cake patties.

  4. Step 4

    Place crab cake patties into hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides. Remove from frying pan and place on plate lined with paper towel. Serves 6-8.
