    How to Reduce the Laundry Chore

  1. Step 1

    Choose a time. If you are constantly doing laundry setting a time just for it could help reduce the chore. Pick a convenient day or days that you can devote just to laundry.

  2. Step 2

    Reduce dryer usage. Using a clothesline you can reduce the waiting time for the dryer.

  3. Step 3

    Use a pre-sorted hamper. Having a hamper with three different lets you have colors, whites and towels all sorted out. This means when you start laundry it takes you half the time because there's no sorting!

  4. Step 4

    Include your children. Kids love helping with a lot of things. Make a game out of folding and putting away clothes. This way the children learn some responsibility all while having fun!
