How to Do a toss turn around with a baton

For a fancy trick that will help any majorette with her routine, or for beginners wanting to learn a new baton trick.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Baton
  1. Step 1

    Get used to the weight of baton by holding it in your hand.

  2. Step 2

    Practice tossing baton up in the air and catching it.

  3. Step 3

    Try and throw it straight up the same distance each time.

  4. Step 4

    Practice your turn. Spin counter clockwise on foot. Practice until you can do it fast while keeping your balance.

  5. Step 5

    After you are comfortable catching the baton, throwing same distance each time and spinning on your one foot. Then add them all together.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure you throw your baton upward and then spin.
  • Remember practice makes perfect this could take a few days to a few weeks to master.
