How to Clean Your Kids Room

  1. Step 1

Kids are good at disorganizing every toy they own. Try making it fun and easy for them to learn how to keep it organized on their own.

  2. Step 2

Considering you have a place for every kind of toy to go, you can put picture cut-outs of the toys that belong in that place. If you cannot find the exact toy choose something similar.

  3. Step 3

Use tape to keep the picture cut-out to stay put. Now explain to your child that every toy that looks like the picture, goes in that place. Do it with them and you can make a game of it while cleaning!

  4. Step 4

When you are organizing the toys you are bound to come across something that doesn't belong in their room. Have a trash bag or two handy for this. Put items that go in a different room into one bag and any trash you may have in the other bag.

  5. Step 5

Let your children help you make their bed and make a game out of it. This way they learn the responsibility of cleaning while having fun.

  6. Step 6

Many kids enjoy vacuuming, let them help you if possible. Considering the age of your child they can help you dust as well. Just remember to make a new game each time and they'll have a blast, as will you!!
