Super bowl tickets are a very hot commodity and tickets are not usually sold to the general public. But did you know that each year the NFL holds a random lottery for 500 pairs of tickets? Thousands of people enter this drawing every year. If your name is picked, you have the option to purchase 2 tickets to the Super bowl game.

Instructions

Difficulty: Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

  • postcard
  • mailing supplies

Step1
Entries for the Superbowl ticket drawing are accepted from Feb 1 to June 1 of the year before the big game (games are usually in January or February, so you would need to enter by June 1st of the year before).
Step2
To enter, prepare a postcard with your name, address and phone number on it. Indicate which Super bowl you wish to attend (example, Super bowl 2008) Make sure your entry is legible.
Step3
Only one entry per person is allowed. Do not try to cheat by sending in more than one entry- you could risk being disqualified completely.
Step4
Send your entry via CERTIFIED MAIL to:
NFL, Super Bowl Game
280 Park Avenue
New York, NY 10017
Step5
If you win you will be notified by the NFL sometime after the drawing in October.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make sure you have the money to pay for the tickets in case you win. Super bowl tickets are expensive, running several hundred dollars per ticket, and winning the random drawing does not mean you will get a discount. Be prepared to pay full price for the tickets.
