1. Double click the LimeWire Icon to open the main window.

2. LimeWire opens with a short how to but doesn't say how to utilize all its features.

3. You may get confused when you search for something and you get far more instances of your favorite song then you imagined. Some of these may be viruses, a good rule of thumb is a song is around 3,000 KB while the average virus is around 600 KB; so you may see what looks like a good song may turn out to be a virus.

4. Put a song title in the search box, then hit the search button.

5. 0nce you have a list of choices, check the size of the files and disregard ones that are too small. Remember a KB is a thousand Bytes, and MB is a million Bytes. After you find a song file, double clicking it will begin the download process.
