How to Play Valentiner
Valentiner is a simple "mining" online game similar to Gold Miner, but with several differences that make it fun on it's own. Instead of being a Miner, you are a Cupid, trying to soften a jaded heart by filling it with love. From your cloudy perch, you can snag all manner of goodies to help you break the coating of stone around the heart.

Grab money bags. Unlike Gold Miner, you can't buy items between levels with excess gold; you need cash from money bags to buy stuff. If you don't snag money bags, you won't have any money with which to buy things.

Snag the letter hearts. Remember the candy hearts that you always see around Valentine's day? If you grab them and spell Love, you'll get a huge bonus. The only catch is that these letters can be very difficult to get. They're worth it in early levels or if you're desperate, but if there are gremlins floating around, grab them first.

Grab the boxed presents if you can. These are worth between 1 and 200 heart, and are relatively easy to reel in. They may not always show up, so if you see them, grab them.

Grab the giant heart nuggets if you've got lots of time to spare or are desperate. These are worth 125 heart and take a long time to reel in, so they may not be worth the time depending on your situation. Try and grab other goods first, then if you still need some heart or have time to kill, go after these.

Play any of the Gold Miner games. Valentiner is widely regarded as one of the most, if not the most difficult of the miner-type online games. If you're having trouble with it, play Gold Miner or Gold Miner Vegas for a while, then go back to Valentiner.

Enter a tournament. If you think you're pretty good at Valentiner, check and see if there are any tournaments going on. Several websites host them, and it'll give you a chance to challenge yourself and play the game with some friends or make some new friends. Good luck!
