If you're like so many online job seekers who've tried to find legitimate work at home data entry jobs, you're nearly convinced that none exist.

Well, the good news is that although trying to find this type of employment can be very difficult, there are legitimate and no-fee work at home data entry jobs available. You just need to know where to look.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Basic Internet, Computer and Typing skills.
  1. Step 1

Let the word "JOB" be your first clue. Did your current or last employer ask you to pay them as a requirement of your employment? Wait, weren't they looking to fill a position and instead offer to pay you to work for them?

I'm no genius but I'm pretty sure that the word JOB is synonymous with work and being paid wages.

  2. Step 2

Don't be mislead. Perhaps the problem is that you've seen and read so many misleading advertisements making unrealistic claims about being able to making thousands of dollars per day doing data entry work. Stop and think now - did any of those advertisements ever claim that they were actually accepting applications or hiring? They didn't.

In fact, these advertisements are considered "income opportunities" - not jobs. And, for $39, $59, $99 or whatever you can buy someone's information on how to try this "opportunity" yourself. Most of these opporunties include some person's version of instructions on how they use Google Adsense Ads and Adwords to make money online. The thing is, the actual typing or data entry that occurs is simply an after-thought. You've got to know how to write these ads and where to place them, to say the least. So, enough said.

  3. Step 3
    Browse Companies

Now for some legitimate work at home data entry jobs that really cost nothing to start because these employers actually hire and pay you for your work.

Go to the "Resources" section of this article below and browse the list of company web sites I found that hire home based data entry workers.

  4. Step 4

Apply for employment with these companies just as you would any other job by completing and submitting accurate applications and resumes.

Competition for these types of jobs/positions is fierce. Make your application and resume stand out from the rest.

  5. Step 5

Follow up! Wait a few days to a week and then contact the companies you've applied to. Let them know you are requesting the status of your application, etc...

Tips & Warnings
  • These companies receive thousands of applications, so follow up and be respectfully persistent.
  • Submit your application and resume to several companies. This will increase your chances of landing work from home employment.
  • Use Caution - Legitimate employers never charge fees to work for them.
