You want to look your best for a job interview. Dressing for an interview need not be an expensive undertaking if you follow these tips.

From Quick Guide: Job Interviewing
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Shop for sales at the end of the season. In July many stores have sales on summer suits; likewise winter goods go on sale after Christmas.

  2. Step 2

Check your newspaper or mail for money-saving coupons from department stores.

  3. Step 3

    Check clearance racks for savings.

  4. Step 4

Shop at thrift stores and Salvation Army outlets. Some people change their wardrobes every season, and you might find a late-model designer suit for a song.

  5. Step 5

Try discount stores such as Burlington Coat Factory, Nordstrom's Rack, Ross Dress for Less and Loehmann's.

  6. Step 6

Go to outlet malls. For added savings check at the mall office for auto club and other discounts.

  7. Step 7

Get a senior discount. If you're eligible, you may gain extra savings on certain weekdays from some stores.
