Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- 2 hand towels
- 1 washcloth
- 4 cotton pads
- A creamy cleanser
- A low lathering cleanser
- A facial scrub
- Moisturizing hair conditioner
- Ice Cubes
- Facial moisturizer
Step1
So many skin care problems arise from inadequate cleansing.
First, wash your hands! Pour about a tablespoon of the creamy cleanser into the palm of your hands. Lightly warm by rubbing both hands together and massage into complexion, beginning at throat and moving up in massaging fashion. Apply warm wet hand towel to face and throat and let your skin rest under it for a few seconds. Remove the cleanser with the washcloth thoroughly. Rinse out the towel, get it warm and wet again, squeeze out excess water and repeat. Pat the skin dry with the dry towel.
Step2
Visualize your complexion as beautiful.
Apply the low lather cleanser to the face, this time avoiding the throat. Massage for a few minutes and gradually add scrub to the face. Rinse well and pat skin dry. Apply the scrub alone to the face, beginning at the chin and move fingers in circular upward motions. Continue for a few minutes until the skin is slightly rosy, then go over the throat in upward movements, tilting the head back to keep from stretching the tissue. Rinse well with warm water until it is removed. Pat skin dry.
Step3
Easy does it with moisturizer. Most Women Under Cleanse and Over Moisturize!
Apply thick layer of moisturizing hair conditioner to face and throat. Pour ice cubes into a bowl and fill with cold water from the tap. If possible, lie down with cotton pads soaked in cold water and squeezed dry. After twenty minutes, rinse the face and throat with warm water. Dip hands into the cold ice water and rinse the face and throat again. Pat dry. Liberally apply moisturizer and massage in. Wrap face in dry towel and rub hands briskly over the towel, stimulating your complexion. Unwrap and enjoy!

on 12/16/2007 Your article sounds so clean and refreshing, I can't wait to do this. I have oily skin, should I use the hair conditioner?

on 12/5/2007 And who would have thought. The list of uses for hair conditioner goes on and on. To bad they don't include them all on the bottle for the every day customer.
