Things You'll Need:
- Flying Disc
-
Step 1
The grip is the most important aspect of this exciting upside-down toss. Hold the disc as you would a flick, with your index and middle fingers side by side against the side-wall. Instead of being under the disc, as in a flick, you fingers are on top because the disc is upside-down.
-
Step 2
Instead of releasing the disc with your arm extended, the scoober is generally released in front of your chest. Begin with you elbow bent, and the disc about one foot in front of your chest.
-
Step 3
For a right-handed person, the throw will arc left to right, so keep this in mind while aiming. You will want to release the disc at about shoulder height. A higher release will provide a little more hang time. Ensure that the far edge of the disc is slightly above your hand.
-
Step 4
As you extend your arm forward away from your chest, snap your wrist forward as you would when throwing a forehand. You are effectively pulling the disc around your fingers. If you're right-handed, this will produce a clockwise spin.
