How to Open a TD Ameritrade Account

• Computer with internet access
• Your bank's routing number
• Your checking account number

1. Navigate to TD Ameritrade's Website listed at the end of this article, and click on "open an online trading account."
2. Fill out the online application, which will include your social security number and the SS number of anyone else on your account.
3. Fund your account electronically through a wire transfer or a banking transfer if it is over $2000. If it is under, send a check to the appropriate address.
4. Your account is ready for trading when the money is recieved and verified.
