Mess with the bull, and you'll get the horns

Beef up your cocktails with beef broth

Make up some beef broth. You can buy it in a can, you can buy it by the bullion cube, or you can use a beef ramen packet if you're one of those people who gets down on ramen. This writer is one of those people, so he isn't judging, mind you.

  2. Step 2

Get your mixer ready for some action.

  3. Step 3

    Add the vodka.

  4. Step 4

    Throw in the beef broth.

  5. Step 5

Follow it up with the tomato juice.

  6. Step 6

Now add a dash of orange juice.

  7. Step 7

Sprinkle in 6 dashes of Tabasco (more or less, depending on drinker).

  8. Step 8

    Add a dash of pepper.

  9. Step 9

Now shake that up and then pour it into a pint glass with ice. Garnish this drink with a celery stick or some olives or both or neither. You make the call!

Tips & Warnings
  • The Bloody Bull is superior to the Bloody Mary because the beef broth adds an extra flavor dimension not usually enjoyed in brunch drinks.
  • Do not serve this drink to vegetarians, as they do not partake of beef.
