Step1
Tell your kids that most wrestling moves don’t hurt the performers. They are purposely made to look painful when, in reality, they aren’t really dangerous.

Explain to your children that the matches are pre-determined. Most kids will think that the men in a pro wrestling ring are actually competing. Tell them that is not the case.

Explain to your kids that most pro wrestlers are characters when they are in the ring. Pro wrestlers are much like actors when they are on television. They are trying to entertain viewers.

Talk to your kids about how well trained pro wrestlers are. It takes years of training and practice for a pro wrestlers to make it on television. Explain this to your kids.

Tell your kids how dangerous it is to perform wrestling moves. The training that pro wrestlers have enables them to perform wrestling moves safely. Tell your kids that they could seriously hurt themselves by performing wrestling maneuvers.

Tell your kids that most pro wrestlers truly are very good athletes. It takes great athleticism to perform as pro wrestlers do. Encourage your kids to continue to watch pro wrestling and applaud the people in the ring.
