Being a Cleveland Indians fan is not an easy thing to do. Cleveland fans are passionate about their teams, however. Here is how you can be a Cleveland Indians fan.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Know the history of the Indians. The Cleveland Indians have quite a history, including Satchel Paige, “The curse of the Rock” and “The Catch” for starters. Knowing the history of the Indians will give you an appreciation for what it means to be a passionate Cleveland fan.

  2. Step 2

Support Chief Wahoo. Many people find the mascot of the Indians to be offensive. We Cleveland fans, know, that Chief Wahoo is a lovable mascot that has been around forever.

  3. Step 3

Listen to Tom Hamilton call a game. Every Tribe fan knows that Hamilton is quite possibly the best play-by-play man in the business. Even if you don’t live in the area it is essential for an Indians fan to listen to Hamilton at least once during the baseball season.

  4. Step 4

Support the team all year. Even in the winter you can wear a sweatshirt with Chief Wahoo on the front. It’s important to support the Tribe 365 days a year.

  5. Step 5

Never lose faith. Face it, Cleveland fans. Every team in that city is going to break your hearts at least once (a years, most likely). When the Indians hurt you, stick with them and keep the faith.

  6. Step 6

Go to Cleveland and watch the Indians play. Cleveland is home to one of the most beautiful ballparks in all of baseball. Every Indians fan should make it out to Cleveland for a ballgame at least once a year.
