When your plant is too large it needs to be re-potted into a larger pot.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • plantpot
  • soil
  • pebbles
  1. Step 1

    Get yourself some good soil from a garden centre

  2. Step 2

    Put some small pebbles into the bottom of the pot for drainage

  3. Step 3

    Add some soil to the put, about a fifth of the bottom should be covered

  4. Step 4

    Squeeze the original plant pot and gently ease the plant out of it

  5. Step 5

    Put the plant into the new plantpot and add soil until it is packed firmly

  6. Step 6

    Thoroughly water the plant and leave to drain.

  7. Step 7

    Re-pot again one to two years later when the plant has grown too large for its pot.

Tips & Warnings
  • For better drainage, use a plant pot with holes in the bottom
