How to Predict Final Four Teams During the Preseason

People who aren’t even college basketball fans love to watch March Madness. However, what if you want to pick the Final Four teams before the season even begins? Here are some tips on how you can pick the Final Four during the preseason.

1. Listen to the experts. Analysts and experts are paid a lot of money to be knowledgeable when it comes to college basketball. If there is one team that is being picked by many experts to make it to the Final Four you may want to consider that team yourself.
2. Avoid picking teams from small conferences. Everybody may cheer for these teams during the NCAA Tournament but it is highly unlikely that one of those teams will make it all the way to the Final Four. You’ll want to stick with teams from larger conferences.
3. Pick teams that have experience. You’ll want to shy away from a team that is made up of underclassmen. Instead, choose a team that is full of players that have played in the NCAA Tournament before. Those teams are the ones most likely to go further come March.
4. Examine the conferences. If a conference appears to be weak overall chances are that a team from that conference will not make it all the way to the Final Four.
5. Avoid teams that have easy schedules. Many teams will play below average teams early in the season in order to boost their overall record and thus attempt to get a higher seed in the NCAA Tournament. Those teams rarely make it all the way to the Final Four.
