Things You'll Need:
- ammonia
- dish soap
- water
- toothpaste
- toothbrush
-
Step 1
To start, put some toothpaste on an old (but SOFT!) toothbrush and scrub the ring with it. Any type of toothpaste will do, but a colored (not white) toothpaste will help you make sure you get it all off afterward.
-
Step 2
Next, make a solution of a few drops of dish soap, about 5 ounces of water, a teaspoon of ammonia. Put the dish soap in first so it gets somewhat foamy.
-
Step 3
Place the ring in this solution and let it sit for at least an hour.
-
Step 4
When you remove the ring, use the toothbrush again (make sure it is clean) and scrub the ring a little bit more. Rinse the ring off, and voila!
