Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Things You’ll Need:
- Dedication
- Will
- At least half an hour a day
Step1
You need commitment and free time. Learning how to speak German can be a pretty frustrating and time consuming process, so be sure to have at least half hour a day where you can be in a room without interruption.
Step2
Good place to start. There are MILLIONS of products that promise you 'mastering' the art of learning to speak German. Actually, there are little that deliver that promise. Pimsleur is a VERY GOOD resource to start with. Rosetta Stone is very good, too. I know because I've tried them both.
Step3
Speak with a real person online or off line! With web 2.0 revolution, there are many sites in which you can exchange languages. Why not find a buddy with whom you can speak German and in the same time teach him English. Search Google for language learning communities. There are lots of them, so I wouldn't really recommend any specific resource, it depends of your style and choice.
