Cats are unpredictable but keeping their nails cut will save your furniture and arms.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Large toe nail clippers
  • Possibly a partner
  1. Step 1

Hold the Cat between your body and left arm. Slide the left hand down to the Cats foot. Using index finger push on the center of the Cats paw. This will push the Nails forward and expose the Nail. +++ If you are left handed just switch sides +++++

  2. Step 2

Take the clippers in right hand and clip off the portion of the nail that curves over. Check if your cat has a white nail. This will give you better idea of where the Nails quick ends. If all nails are black just cut a little bit at a time.

  3. Step 3

If you make a mistake an cut the quick just hold a bit of regular old flour into the nail and this will stop the bleeding after a minute.
