For most fashionistas, the desire to have a revolving wardrobe is essential for their busy day and night life. It is so hard to manage two sets of wardrobes and the fashionista does not just want the clothes to be functional, but fashionable. A simple black silk scarf can change seven pieces of your wardrobe instantly.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Black silk scarf
  • Variety of brooches
  • String of beads of your choice
  1. Step 1

Dress up your old tanks for day and night. Take the black scarf and drape it along the front curve of the neckline and tuck under the straps and then under the silk scarf near the tank strap. This will allow the tails of the scarf to hang down in the front. You could also, wrap the tank straps and drape the tail to the back of the neck line. Fasten with a pin or a safety pin with strings of beads.

  2. Step 2

Wrap the black silk scarf around your bustline and tie in a knot. You can add a string of beads around the top.

  3. Step 3

Change a pleated skirt into an a-line skirt by using the black silk scarf to form a low turban waist. Make sure that you start wrapping about an inch from the top of the waistband. This will push the pleats completely down at the top, but add a nice flare to the bottom.

  4. Step 4

Take a simple dress and add the scarf to the waist in a wide band. Then take a lot of brooches and pin to the band. This will change a day dress to nightwear quickly.

  5. Step 5

Make a scarf poncho by using two v-shaped scarves and connecting them at the shoulder with knots of brooches. You can expand this idea to a wrap with one large for the back and two long for the shoulder.

  6. Step 6

Make a scarf necklace. Take the scarf and fold it into a log shape. Then add knots to the scarf. Now connect the scarf with an elegant pin.

  7. Step 7

The last is a simple one. Drape the silk scarf over your shoulder with the triangle form hanging off the arm. You can layer the triangles with different colors and different spacing.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you need more length, just secure another scarf to the first.
