How to Roll Coins
Rolling your coins is a great way to keep them organized. You'll also know exactly how much money you have when you roll your coins. Cent rolls contain 50 coins, for a face value of 50 cents. Nickel rolls hold 40 coins ($2). Dime rolls hold 50 coins ($5), quarter rolls contain 40 coins ($10), half-dollar rolls hold 20 coins ($10) and dollar rolls hold 25 coins ($25).

1
Separate the required amount of coins for the wrapper. For example, if you are rolling pennies, take 50 of them and set them aside. Take the roll and place your finger into the bottom to catch the coins as you insert them. Leave a little space free so you have room to fold the end of the wrapper.
-
2
Drop the coins into the roll one at a time. Groups of more than three coins may get stuck vertically, so it's best to go slowly.

3
Fold the end at the top closed once the roll is filled with the proper number of coins. It doesn't matter how you choose to fold the end, as long as it is secure. Turn the roll over and fold the other end so the coins are tightly wrapped.

Tips & Warnings
If you are depositing the coins at a bank, write your account number on the rolls.
Don't try to short your bank by a coin or two. They check the value by weight, and will charge you a fee if the coins are short.
