Most people who have children have at some point had to try to remove crayon from paint. Here is what to do if you child draws a picture on the wall.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Aim your blow dryer at the wall where there is crayon and turn it on the highest setting. Keep it on the wall for ten seconds.

  2. Step 2

Using a dry paper towel or wash rag, wipe at the spot you were blowing with the blow dryer.

  3. Step 3

If the crayon comes off easily, continue to remove it. If it smears, it’s not ready to be removed.

  4. Step 4

Continue to blow dry the crayon until it wipes off with just the paper towel or wash rag.

Tips & Warnings
  • A dry or barely damp wash rag or paper towel works best. If it is too wet, the crayon is more likely to smear.
  • Test a small section to make sure the blow dryer does not affect your paint.
