A unibrow isn't going to get you any style awards. Take care of it immediately by buying a professional waxing kit from a beauty supply store. It will include a jar or tube of wax, a small spatula-looking instrument and instructions on heating it up. There's no way around it, waxing your unibrow is going to hurt. But, it's like ripping a bandage off. It will feel better quickly.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Eyebrow waxing kit
  • Eyebrow comb or baby toothbrush
  • Ruler
  • Astringent such as witch hazel
  • Water soluble marker, pen or eyeliner
  1. Step 1

Comb the unibrow in the hairs' natural direction. The brow over the right eye should go toward the right. The hair over the left eye should go to the left.

  2. Step 2

Wipe the skin under the eyebrows with an astringent like witch hazel. This will make sure it's clean.

  3. Step 3

Figure out how the eyebrows should be shaped. Hold the ruler straight up and down, next to each nostril. This is where the eyebrow should start. Mark it with a spot.

  4. Step 4

Hold the ruler diagonally, from the edge of the nostril, past the outer corner of the colored part of your eye, to the eyebrow. This is where the highest point of the arch should be. Mark it with a spot.

  5. Step 5

Bring the ruler from the outer edge of the nostril to the outside corner of your eye. Just above that is where the eyebrow should end. Mark it with a spot. Connect all the dots to make your eyebrow shape.

  6. Step 6

Heat up the wax as instructed on the box. Put a small amount on the spatula. Apply to the hair you want to remove between your eyes.

  7. Step 7

Smooth the cotton strip over the wax immediately. Hold the skin tight. Quickly pull the cotton in the opposite direction of hair growth. Repeat until all unwanted hair is removed.

Tips & Warnings
  • Numb the area beforehand by rubbing ice cubes over it.
  • Wax under the arch of the eyebrow to make your eyes appear wider.
  • Pluck any remaining hair that the wax missed.
  • Soothe the area with a balm or lotion after you're done waxing.
  • Don't let the wax dry on your face.
  • Never apply wax above the eyebrow arch.
