Step 1
Set a date, location and time for your Mother's Day brunch. Mother's Day is the ideal day to have it, but if not all of the mothers are free that day, it's okay to have it the weekend before or after. The time is easy to set. Brunch can be held any time between late morning and early afternoon.
-
Step 2
Invite your guests. Send our personal invitations to everyone to give it a special touch.
-
Step 3
Tell your guests to bring a dish to share that is appropriate for brunch. You may want to give them some suggestions so no one shows up with hamburgers and hot dogs.
-
Step 4
Decorate on the day of the Mother's Day brunch. Make sure your house is spotless. Set out plates, cups, silverware and napkins. Clear room on tables or counters for people to place their potluck dishes. Set out a lot of chairs so everyone has somewhere to sit.
-
Step 5
Supply a variety of beverages for everyone. Serve tea, caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee, water, mimosas and Bloody Marys.
-
Step 6
Wait for your guests to arrive and encourage everyone to eat, drink, relax and celebrate all the mothers.
