Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Establish your own viewpoints about feminism. Write down some of the various personal feminist viewpoints you have before attempting to educate young girls about feminist beliefs.
Step2
Teach the importance of empowerment to young girls; teach them about the importance of developing an identity independent of societal or male restrictions. Try to impart a sense of power and self respect in young girls.
Step3
Teach the history of women's oppression in society. Use visual techniques like video and interactive activities that involve the girls in learning about the historical views toward women and their abilities.
Step4
Advocate a healthy body image and proper self care. Teach the girls that being a strong woman doesn't mean being too thin or promiscuous or submissive.
Step5
Lead by example and show them how you represent feminist views in your own life and the sense of empowerment you have gained from doing so. Show them plenty of examples of strong women through mentoring opportunities or positive female role models in your community and in the media.
