KitchenAid stand mixers can be used for many kitchen tasks, from whipping egg yolks into perfect peaks, to kneading bread dough and making whipped cream. Here are several ideas using your KitchenAid stand mixer.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Make whipped cream in your KitchenAid stand mixer. Use the egg beater attachment and keep the mixer speed constant as you whip heavy cream into a tasty concoction. After the cream has whipped, add a small amount of confectioner's sugar and vanilla.

  2. Step 2

Make butter. After whipping cream into whipped cream, continue to mix on a constant speed until the butter comes and the buttermilk separates. Mold the butter, squeezing out the buttermilk, and refrigerate.

  3. Step 3

Mill flour with a grain mill attachment. Use the finest setting for breads and baked goods. The courser settings are for making course chopped oats and other cereals.

  4. Step 4

Make bread dough. Mix bread dough ingredients in your mixer and give your arms a rest from kneading the dough. Allow the dough to rise in the KitchenAid bowl.

  5. Step 5

Shred cheese and grate veggies using the slicer-shredder attachment. Chill the cheese well before slicing, as it works better when cold.

  6. Step 6

Stuff sausage. Use the sausage stuffer attachment to make your own sausages with ground meat and spices.
