Good dental health depends upon your regularly brushing your teeth at least twice a day with good quality toothpaste. Brushing your teeth removes plaque, kills germs anc can freshen your breath.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Buy good quality mint-flavored toothpaste. Mint flavored toothpaste is the basic toothpaste for good dental health.

  2. Step 2

Use toothpaste with whiteners. Whiteners act like bleach for tooth enamel. Do not overuse whiteners with strong abrasive chemicals; they will damage tooth enamel in the long run.

  3. Step 3

Get special toothpaste for smokers. Smokers' toothpaste helps to remove the stains of nicotine and has powerful breath fresheners.

  4. Step 4

Ask your dentist for a toothpaste recommendation for sensitive teeth. People with sensitive teeth suffer greatly from both hot and cold items. Toothpaste for sensitive teeth relieves the pain.

  5. Step 5

Choose tartar control toothpaste for additional cleaning power. Tartar-control toothpastes use sodium pyrophosphate to keep tartar from forming above the gum line, but it does not remove the tartar.
