How to Identify Super Nepalese Hash

Hash produced in Nepal comes from a variety of small cannabis growers who process the hash in traditional handmade methods. Temple balls and Nepalese sticks are the most common types of hash coming from Nepal. However, the most potent and most expensive Nepalese variety is a brick form known as Super Nepalese or Black Nepalese hash, and it is easily identified.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Step1
Examine the consistency of the hash. While this hash is placed into small brick forms, it is not pressed like other types. This traditional handmade process results in a highly malleable and extremely sticky hash that easily comes apart in your hands. The hash will not crumble or break. Instead, small pieces pull off the brick easily, leaving bits of residue and hash stuck to your fingers.
Step2
Observe the color of the hash. Super Nepalese is also known as Black Nepalese for its extremely dark color. Because the bricks are not pressed but are formed by hand, the hash is aerated and will maintain its dark black color throughout.
Step3
Smell the hash. Because this hash is handcrafted in the traditional style, the natural scents of the resins are not lost during processing, resulting in a strong, spicy aroma. Many people describe the scent of Super Nepalese as smoky, sweet like bitter chocolate or with a hint of clove.
Step4
Check the price tag of the hash. Super Nepalese is rare yet highly prized, highly potent and made with meticulous methods. Super Nepalese will often be sold for a price at least double that of other varieties.
