How to Make a "My eBay" Page Load Faster

How fast your "My eBay" page loads has a lot to do with the speed of your computer and your Internet connection. Your page will also load slower if you do a lot of buying or selling on eBay which means there is more information to load. However, there are a few things you can do to help your page load faster.

Instructions

    • 1

Log into your eBay account and go to your "My eBay" page. Click on "My Summary" on the left side of the page at the top of the column.

    • 2

Choose "customize summary" on the right side of the top of the page.

    • 3

Lower the number of views on your "My eBay" page. You can do this by moving any items that you do not need to see from the "Views to Display" list to the "Available Views" list. You can always put them back later if you feel the need.

    • 4

Click on the drop down menu next to "Number of items to display in each view" and choose a lower number. Lowering this number will also make the page load faster.

    • 5

Go back to the column on the left side of your "My eBay" page and click on "Preferences" under "My Account."

    • 6

Scroll down the page to "General Preferences" and choose "show" next to "My eBay." Choose a default opening page that contains less information than the one you currently have set as default for a quicker page load.

    • 7

Uncheck the box that says "Display Help content in My eBay."
