Instructions
  1. Step 1

Decorate the room you will be putting your wall letters in so that you have a theme to follow.

  2. Step 2

Decide upon a word or phrase to put in your room. Of course, in a nursery or kid's room, the child's name is the perfect wall letter creation to hang.

  3. Step 3

Choose a style for your wooden wall letters. Decide on letter cuts in upper case or lower case or letters painted on wooden squares or in frames hung by ribbons.

  4. Step 4

Visit a craft or hobby store or go online to see the different types of letters available so you can best make your decision.

  5. Step 5

Decide the color and/or design you would like on your wooden wall letters. There are many designs and themes available to choose from or you can create and paint your own.

  6. Step 6

Purchase your finished letters online or at a crafts or hobby store. You can also purchase unfinished letters and create and paint or stain them.

  7. Step 7

Hang your word or phrase in the room of your choice. Take care to make sure the letters are straight by using a ruler and marking the wall before hanging the letters.
