With Roxio you can copy the entire contents of a CD or DVD and burn them onto a blank CD or DVD without transferring any files to your hard drive. Having two drives will make it easier, but Roxio can even copy a disc and burn the contents to a new disc with only one drive.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Open the "Roxio Disc Copier" from your Windows "Start" menu. This is a separate program from the one you normally use to burn files to discs, but it comes standard with Roxio.
Step2
Choose the source drive. The source drive is the drive where you will put the disc you want to copy. The source drive can be your CD or DVD burner, but it can also be any other drive. Choose this drive from the drop down menu at the top of the program window.
Step3
Select the destination drive. From the next drop down menu, select the drive you want to use to burn the data. This drive will have to be a CD or DVD burner. If your burner is the only drive you have, the two drives can be the same.
Step4
Decide how many copies of the disc you need. Under "Number of Copies" select the number you need from the drop down menu. Roxio will burn the copies one after another while you feed in blank discs.
Step5
Insert the disc you want to copy into the drive you chose as the source drive. If you have more than one disc drive, go ahead and insert the blank disk into your burner and click "Copy." The new disc will eject when it has been copied. If you have only one drive, just choose "Copy."
Step6
Put the blank disc into your burner when prompted. If you have only one drive, Roxio will prompt you when you need to put in the blank disc. Insert the blank disc and Roxio will copy the files to it.
