There was a time when everybody wanted their hair cut like Don King. Little old ladies would go into the beauty parlor and say, "Just give me the D.K.." Small children clamored at Halloween, begging their parents for a Don King costume. Grown men cried, trying to simulate the exact salt and pepper mixture. Some have made fun of him, others have vowed to get the look but as he is noted as saying, "Only in America can a Don King happen."

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Grow your hair. If you're in the military this hairstyle may not work for you. If you're bald this will not work for you. Buy a wig.
Step2
Gather up all your Don King pictures from different angles just in case the person who cuts your hair is a 22 year old girl from West Virginia. She may not know who Don King is, no insult to her.
Step3
Prepare your stylist by quoting Don King's biography. If you give her the complete low down on the 1997 Boxing Hall of Fame recipient then your stylist is bound to see the importance and give you a great haircut.
Step4
Explain that you'll need a dual dye job. It's important that the roots are perfectly black with a gradual graying to the top.
Step5
Cut your hair in uneven bunches allowing for the occasional disarrayed look on good hair days. Ask for recommended products with words like, "bed head" on the label. In a pinch, use some shaving cream and blow dry straight up.
