How to Add Springtime Color to a Wardrobe

Your wardrobe may reflect the climate coldness. Color such as black, brown, gray and navy, are staples in any wardrobe. Springtime colors can uplift your mood and wardrobe. Use bright and sassy colors to invigorate your attitude. A splash of vivid springtime color can mean the difference between a monotonous boring wardrobe and clothes that speak of fun and vibrancy.

  1. Step 1

    Get color swatches of your favorite springtime colors. Hold them up to your face and look in a mirror. Choose colors that bring out your skin tone, eyes or hair. Springtime colors can make you look sallow or energetic: choose wisely.

    Purchase accessories that add something exciting to your existing wardrobe. Scarves, purses, necklaces, rings, earrings, hats and glasses in bright colors are a perfect accent to an other wise all black outfit.

    Examine your makeup. Find colors that are dewy and make your skin sparkle (without adding glitter). Peachy tones look good on most skin types and adds springtime glow.
