Instructions
  1. Step 1

Pick the favorites to win in most every game. There are far fewer upsets in the Women's basketball tournament as opposed to the men's tournament. Now this does not mean a person should only pick the favorites but be sure to choose the upsets wisely.

  2. Step 2

Choose the Tennessee women's basketball team to reach at least the sweet sixteen. Their team has reached the sweet sixteen every year since the tournament expanded, made seventeen final fours, and won seven national championships.

  3. Step 3

Check to see where the tournaments games are being held. The women's tourney allows the higher rated teams to host games at or near their campus during the tournament. Home court advantage is a very large determinant in who wins the games.

  4. Step 4

Identify teams that enter the tournament on a winning streak. Often teams will get "hot" and keep winning games all the way to at least the Final Four. Now this does mean a person should pick a number fifteen seed over a two seed just because the fifteen seed has a longer winning streak.

  5. Step 5

Pay attention to teams that have an All-American on their squad. In basketball more so than any other sport a single individual star player can carry a team to the national title or at least the final four.
